| Comsys are looking to recruit an ambitious, experienced technical consultant with EMC Symmetrix DMX / VMAX skills, to join our technical team. The role involves working closely with the sales, marketing and operational teams in the business; contributing to the pre-sales qualification and post-sales deployment of solutions within the enterprise customer environment.
The role encompasses architecting and supporting solutions using technology from our partners; EMC, Isilon, Oracle, HP, IBM and VMware. Training will be provided for industry accreditations.
The role involves customer meetings, enterprise system architecture systems installations, contribution to project deployment and document production to our customer base, using technology solutions from our partners.
Experience Profile
Pre-requisite - In order to be eligible for this role you MUST be certified as an EMC Symmetrix DMX / VMAX technical consultant.
The candidate must also have at least five years experience with a combination of the following skills:
- Windows Server 2003 & 2008 Administration Experience
- 3+ years’ experience with large enterprise SAN storage environments
- Working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- EMC certifications within Symmetrix DMX/VMAX, Cellera / CLARiiON / VNX / or similar
- Experience as a technical Consultant / Implementation engineer desirable
- Project management experience desirable
- VMWare architecture design and implementation
- SAN, NAS, Unified Storage skills - particularly with EMC
- Cloud architecture and design experience
- Good documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Candidate must be comfortable presenting and consulting up to board level
